Our Transportation Decarbonization Team is Growing!

By: Jenna Barron

Clean Energy Works welcomes Terea Macomber as a Senior Associate for our Transportation Decarbonization program. Prior to joining Clean Energy Works, Terea was the Director of Clean Mobility Programs at GRID Alternatives where she managed the design and implementation of several key transportation electrification programs, including the statewide equity program, Access Clean CA.

As a former professor of operations and strategic management, she focuses on modeling transparent, accountable decision-making to innovate highly effective and efficient transportation electrification programming for our most deserving communities. She leverages this transformative moment for transportation to ensure that everyone’s movement is safe, inclusive, and accessible. Terea also serves on the Board of Directors for Forth Mobility, is a member of the 70th class of Coro Northern California’s Public Policy fellowship program, and a proud graduate of Mills College in Oakland, CA.

In her role at Clean Energy Works, Terea will work on strategies to electrify transportation in the United States and internationally building on recent wins in Detroit and leveraging Federal funding for electric school buses. The Transportation Decarbonization team will continue to grow next month as our Transportation Fellow, Lexie Lyng, joins the team as an Associate.
