Clean Energy Works has welcomed Tamara Jones as the organization’s first Managing Director. Tamara brings more than fifteen years of managerial experience in the nonprofit and public sectors.
This new role will lead Clean Energy Works in a continued trajectory of growth, strengthening our internal teams and processes to better serve champions for inclusive investment and the energy equity ecosystem.
Based in Georgia, Tamara was designated a White House Champion of Change in 2011 for her work with the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance where she administered regional energy efficiency building retrofit programs. Tamara also previously served as the Executive Director for the Southeastern African American Farmers Organic Network (SAAFON).
